Weddings and Parties
The No-No's have been playing at weddings and private parties for over 10 years. From political candidates receptions, to 200-person weddings, we have the experience to make your event just the way you like it. We would be happy to take on the role of Master of Ceremonies, if you wish. We will work with you every step of the way to make sure you have the music you want, when you want it. The No-Nos played our wedding and I can definitely say it was the best wedding dance party I have ever been too. They crooned our first dance song perfectly and then immediately cranked up the energy and had everyone on the dance floor (and I mean everyone!). They didn't even skip a beat when my mother requested a polka, they just jumped right into it like they were polka stars. My guests complemented us over and over on the band and what a great party it was.
The No-No's were also incredibly easy to work with and responsive to our requests. Dan was helpful with ideas about organizing the flow of the evening and thought of things I hadn't. The No-No's made our wedding incredible and I would recommend them without reservation! Kerry, Salem, CT
We had heard the No-No's play locally and were so excited when they were available to play for our wedding which was planned as a combination serious spiritual event and kick-ass party for our friends & family. Working with Dan, both via email and in person, was a breeze -- his responses were always timely and often included details we hadn't thought of, helping us to avoid difficulties on the big day. He met with us at the location to scout out how we would set up everything and how his equipment could be of support to our ceremony. He encouraged us to choose special songs which the band learned. We got many, many kudos from our friends and family on the choice of band and the music that they played. And I especially loved rocking out to the song I had highlighted as the one I really, really wanted -- the band waited to play it until I returned from a small respite, which made me feel cared for and that it was our day.Karen (& Tony), Amherst MA

Hiring the No-No's to play at our wedding was an excellent decision. The wedding music was one of the few things my wonderful wife put me in charge of and I hit the jackpot with this band. Each band member is an incredibly talented musician in their own right and when they play together they create something really special. They have a unique ability to read the crowd and play songs that everyone wants to hear and dance to. I saw many friends and family members who NEVER dance really cutting loose on the dance floor... It was awesome!! We had friends and family telling us months afterwards that our wedding was one of the most fun they've ever been to and the No-No's were the #1 reason for that. I cannot believe that somehow I have missed you guys all these years! You are so much fun, love the old tunes but I have to say that I was also proud to know the lyrics (both the clean and unclean) to Forget You, thanks to my teenagers. I hired The No-No's last month to play at a party. They were great - easy to work with, prompt to respond to any questions I had prior to the event, and very accommodating on party day. The No-nos are a great dance band! They have played for the Full Belly Dance benefit for several years running and their music is so terrific the guests come back each year just for the band (although the cause is great too!) Wouldn't you like some feedback?...if you had sent out a reviewer into the crowd last night, you would have gotten about 250 4 star ratings!!! I wanted to find a place where you all check into from time to time...to let the whole band know how great you are. For people who like to dance, it's always fun to get to do it, but your group has something very special that goes way beyond that! Must be how much all of you love what you do.
